The 66th Music Circus season continues with the delightful and enduing musical Hello, Dolly!, Jerry Herman's award-winning tale of vivacious matchmaker Dolly Levi. Performances are Tuesday, June 28 through Sunday, July 3 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion.

After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles, and Sacramento, California Musical Theatre has confirmed casting for all six shows in the 66th Music Circus season. The stellar cast for the season is loaded with Broadway veterans--some of whom are making their Music Circus debuts--Tony nominees, and audience favorites from previous Music Circus productions.

Jenkins (six-time Tony Award winner) and Dallas Summer Musicals, Inc. This exciting new production features a revamped script, timeless songs, and a new physical production with an entirely fresh interpretation of the musical. As BroadwayWorld reported last summer, Cathy Rigby is being sued by composer Craig Barna over the latest tour of PETER PAN. Barna's $2 million lawsuit claims that he has not been compensated for over 30 musical numbers that he contributed to the musical. Leslie Ben-Zvi, Barna's attorney, just wrote to BroadwayWorld to confirm that 'affidavits, exhibits and other court papers were recently filed in New York Supreme Court regarding Peter Pan, Cathy Rigby and my client, Craig Barna.'

GREASE is the world's #1 rock 'n roll musical and it will be hand-jivin' across the stage at Bill Hanney's award winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) for two weeks only. GREASE begins performances today, August 12 and plays thru Sunday, August 24. Press night is scheduled for Wednesday, August 13 at 7:30 pm.

The musical will run June 13 - 29 in Hobby Center's Sarofim Hall and then play the Atlanta premiere at the Fabulous Fox Theatre from July 8 - 13. TUTS invites everyone to take a trip "under the sea" including all the familiar classic songs plus a few new ones along with a story that charms people of all ages!

Kean University's Department of Theatre will host a Rock Musical Audition Workshop with actress Sheri Sanders, author of Rock the Audition: How to Prepare For and Get Cast in Rock Musicals, and Meg Zervoulis, music director for Kean's upcoming production of In The Heights, this Saturday, December 7th from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The workshop will take place in the Little Theatre, located in Kean's University Center at 1000 Morris Avenue. Admission is $25.00 for the general public, and free for current Kean students with I.D. Those wishing to participate in (rather than observe) the master class are asked to prepare a 16-32 bar selection of a rock song in one of the following styles: Motown, '70s folk/rock, disco, '80s pop/rock, contemporary pop/rock, or "faeries" (Regina Spektor, Rufus Wainwright, etc.).
