Twenty Minutes to Curtain Productions presents a full-length family musical of The Brothers Grimm classic at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre.

Performances take place Fridays, Sept. 23 and 30 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sundays, Sept. 25 and Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on Mercer's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on Sept. 23.

Written by the late Broadway actress Marilyn Gerold of Bucks County, Pa., who put numerous fairytale classics to music after retiring from the stage, this adaptation is reminiscent of popular musicals of the 1950s, according to the show's director Claudia Perry. In addition to the main characters, "everybody sings and dances - from Clara, the bell who acts as the town crier, to a sympathetic frog who dances a soft shoe, to the singing trees," Perry said. "The melodies are quite catchy. Families will enjoy following the familiar story of Snow White in this creative retelling - complete with a happy ending, of course."

The production team also includes producer Eric Knight Barnes and producer/choreographer Kristine Lewis of the Theater Arts Center in Doylestown, Pa. Set and lighting designer is Jerry Jonas; production manager and technical director is Chris Whelan.

Tickets are $18 for adults; $16 for seniors; and $14 for students and children. Free parking is available next to the theater.
