Performed by two-time Emmy® Award-winning actor and The Guiding Light star Tom Pelphrey, Joseph Gallo’s My Italy Story is a story of a young man from Hoboken, NJ who sets out to heal the rift that divides his family, and in the process traces his roots to a remote village in Italy, returning to America to face a surprising family secret.

Mile Square Theatre, Hudson County’s leading professional theatre, now in residence at Monroe Center for the Arts, brings together a creative team of seasoned Broadway and Film/Television artists that are strongly attached to Hoboken. Written by Hoboken playwright Joseph Gallo, My Italy Story stars former Hobokenite Tom Pelphrey, and is directed by Hoboken resident Matthew Lawler.

The show will be performed from June 17 through June 28, Wednesdays through Sundays at 8pm, 3pm matinees on June 27 and June 28, featuring Richie Call in the role.

This is a  Pay-What-You-Will event. However, there is a $25 suggested donation. Reservations strongly suggested.

Mile Square Theatre’s ticket policy for this show encourages people on fixed incomes to determine what they can afford, or to “pay what you will.” They do not want the $25 ticket price to be an impediment to seeing the production.

Monroe Theatrespace is located at 720 Monroe Street, 2nd floor. There is free parking.
