Friendship and bravery are the theme of Theatre IV's performance of the classic fairytale "Thumbelina," coming to Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 2 and 4 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

This beloved Hans Christian Anderson tale of friendship and heroism comes to life in a joyous musical adaptation. Thumbelina and her friends --the toad, fish, field mouse, mole and swallow-will embark on a series of delightful adventures in a tiny, natural, enchanted world.

Founded in 1975, Theatre IV is the nation's second largest touring theater for young audiences, known nationally and internationally for excellence in children's theater. The company produces a wide variety of plays and musicals each year throughout 33 states and the District of Columbia.

Tickets are $10 for all ages and may be purchased online at www.kelseytheatre.net or by calling the Kelsey Box Office at 609-570-3333. Kelsey Theatre is wheelchair accessible and free parking is available next to the theater.
