Colorful creatures and balloon artistry magically combine at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre in January. Husband and wife duo, "Bugs and Balloons," alias Annie "LadyBug" Hickman and Allynn "The Balloon Guy" Gooen, release their creative energy - with help from their friends in the audience - in "The Love Bug's Hug" on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 2 and 4 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on Mercer's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Gooen's infectious energy, combined with his mastery of balloon sculpture, and Hickman's extraordinary costumes and dancer's grace set the tone for a show that is delightful to watch and experience. Audience members are invited to join in the adventure as they help Bugs and Balloons search for a cure to cheer up a sad princess - a journey that includes balloon creatures on the loose along the way.

Tickets are $8 for children, students and senior citizens, and $10 for adults. Free parking is available next to the theater. Tickets may be purchased online at www.kelseytheatre.net or by calling the Kelsey Box Office at 609-570-3333. Kelsey Theatre is wheelchair accessible. For a complete listing of adult and children's events for the 2010-2011 season, visit the Kelsey website or call the box office for a brochure.
