Surflight Theatre is alive and well and eager to begin cleaning up after the ferocious power of Hurricane Sandy passed through our beloved Long Beach Island. However, with our understanding of the needs for care and caution as dictated by the authorities we regrettably must announce the cancellation of the remainder of performances of Neil Simon's BAREFOOT IN THE PARK (originally scheduled to run through November 4). Please be assured that Surflight will honor all ticket bearers for future productions by issuing you a gift certificate or refund. As you are all well aware, there are yet no services available to allow us to take phone calls or access our ticketing information, so please be patient. You will be contacted as soon as we are allowed back on the island and all systems are once again in operation.

Please continue to monitor our web site at www.surflight.org and follow our status on Facebook. We will be making frequent announcements as to when we are able to reopen the theatre. Everyone at Surflight Theatre are safe and being cared for by our friends and families and hope that all our neighbors and business associates on LBI are also enjoying the warmth and safety of home. Your communal spirit of resilience has proven to be inspirational to us all. The real clean-up is about to begin and we are ready to pitch in and make LBI the most wonderful place to be on the Jersey Shore.

We thank our donors and audiences for your ongoing support and look forward to Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS beginning its seasonal run on November 23, 2012. And to quote Mr. Berlin, "…let's go on with the show!"
