The Reock & Roll Revue is returning to Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre to perform the show that started it all for them back in 2008, The Beatles' "White Album." The Revue will perform on Saturday, July 27 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 28 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on Mercer's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Celebrating the 45th anniversary of the release of this classic album, The Reock & Roll Revue presents the 1968 legendary double album from beginning to end. A show for Beatles' and music enthusiasts of all ages, songs will include favorites like "Back in the U.S.S.R.," "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da," and George Harrison's "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." Video and commentary on the album's history will be shared by members of the band as part of the concert.

"White Album" is the Beatles' ninth official album. Many of the songs were solo recordings, as each individual member began to explore his own talent. The album reached number one on the charts in both England and the U.S. and has sold over 20 million copies worldwide. It is viewed by critics as one of the greatest albums of all time.

"The Beatles' 'White Album' was a turning point in the popular music scene of the late 60's and its effects are still felt long into the 2000's," said band leader Tom Reock. "We are performing this album in tribute to this classic from our own childhoods."

Reock & Roll Revue has developed a devoted following at Kelsey, having performed to sold-out crowds in the past, including its recent concert "The Band and Music From Big Pink," along with tribute concerts for the Allman Brothers, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, and The Who.

All members of The Reock & Roll Revue live in the Mercer county area and have been performing for more than 30 years. Band members include Mario DiBartolo of Hamilton on guitar; Jerry Steele of Princeton on guitar and keyboard; Bud Belviso of Hamilton on guitar; Michael White Hayes of Hamilton on drums; Chris Grace of Pennington on bass; and Tom Reock of Hamilton on keyboard.

Tickets are $25 per person and may be purchased by calling the Kelsey Box Office at 609-570-3333 or online at www.kelseytheatre.net. Kelsey Theatre is wheelchair accessible. Free parking is available next to the theater.

Kelsey Theatre's summer schedule of shows continues with the "Mary Poppins" Movie Sing-a-long Aug. 2-4, and the Third Annual Kelsey Theatre Awards Ceremony on Aug. 10. For more information, call (609) 570-3333, or visit www.kelseytheatre.net.
