Caldwell, New Jersey, November 28, 2012 - Collective Youth Theatre Company (CYTC), an educational program of Jersey Arts Collective, a non-profit organization, will present a student production of composer Claude-Michel Schonberg, and lyricists Richard Maltby, Jr. and Alain Boublil's hit musical "Miss Saigon" at the Byrne Performing Arts Center at Mount St. Dominic's Academy (3 Ryerson Avenue, Caldwell, New Jersey) tomorrow, November 29 and Friday, November 30 at 7:30 p.m.
All principal and minor roles will be sung by talented high school and college students from Mount St. Dominic's Academy, Indian Hills, Nutley, Passaic Valley, Verona, and West Milford.
"Miss Saigon," which was loosely based on Giacomo Puccini's opera "Madame Butterfly," has won 30 major theater awards, including three Tony Awards, four Drama Desk Awards, and three Outer Critics Circle Awards.
