Landis Theater to Present Steven Calakos, 9/27

The Landis Theater will present Steven Calakos on September 27th at 7:30 pm. Steven Calakos began his musical career at Vineland High School, performing in both the Cap N' Dagger club and Select Choir. While attending Rowan University, the decision to pursue both his passions, musical theater and education, was the easiest he has ever made.

Over the last few years, Steven has performed on stage regionally and has made appearances on television and the big screen. His career was given a kick-start in 2007 when he competed on NBC's hit reality show Grease: You're The One That I Want where America voted for the new Danny and Sandy of the most recent revival of Grease. Having been the youngest Danny left in the competition, Steven proved he could flourish in theater, television, and film. Since then, Steven has gone on to perform in theaters around the Philadelphia area and is a professional model with Model Management Agency. He can be seen in various commercials and print work. Steven can also be seen in "Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen" and "The Bounty Hunter."

In November 2009, Steven Calakos in Concert was presented at the Media Theatre in Media, Pennsylvania. He is thrilled to perform his second concert at the Landis Theater! His repertoire includes Broadway hits, pop and contemporary, and the time-tested standards we all love.
