Daryl Hannah has starred and acted in over fifty films and has been an effective, passionate activist and advocate for a more ethical sustainable world for decades. Hannah came to the fore with her memorable performance as a mermaid in Ron Howard's comedy hit, Splash (1984). Hannah was cast in a supporting role as a beautiful android in Ridley Scott's Blade Runner (1982). She starred in Wall Street (1987), The Pope of Greenwich Village (1984), Legal Eagles (1986), Roxanne (1987), Woody Allen’s Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) and Steel Magnolias (1989).

Hannah appeared in one of her most high profile roles in 2003 and 2004 and played the iconic one-eyed assassin Elle Driver, in writer-director Quentin Tarantino's critically acclaimed Kill Bill, Vol. 1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2. Throughout the entire first half of the 1990's, Hannah was mostly in the spotlight for being John F. Kennedy's longtime girlfriend (they dated from 1989 to 1994).

Hannah has been arrested three times for actions of conscience; as recently as August 2011 Hannah was arrested at the White House in Washington D.C., protesting the proposed approval of the Keystone XL Tar Sands pipeline. And in an unrelenting effort to help save the South Central Farm in 2006 and then at a 2009 action in West Virginia intended to usher in an end to Mountaintop Removal Strip Mining.

She’s been actively practicing a low impact lifestyle for years, keeps bees, rescues stray animals, and loves hot springs, wild things and wilderness.

The event will reach capacity. RSVP here.
